Sketch 80 Socks

I had time to do the newest sketch at pencil lines.

Journaling says: I LOVE SOCKS! Everybody who knows me knows that I "collect" socks. The uglier the better. My feet are always cold so I especially love warm and cuddly socks.

If you look closely at the photo you can see I've tried to paint the background of the socks with some read color. I used water color pencils to do that. It didn't go that well as I am a noob and I didn't do it the right way. I wish I had seen Nat's newest video tutorial before I did this layout. Then I would have known that you of course have to sand it first for the color to stay on the photo :).

Materials used: acrylic paint, Ranger crackle paint, ribbon unknown, rub on from Basic Grey and creative imaginations, PP from Danyeela patterned paper and CS from my minds eye and journaling tag from Melissa Frances.

Thank you Nat!!

A few days ago I received something amazing in my post box. It was a wonderful layout from Nat. It's called Listen Up and you can see it on her wonderful blog among many many other wonderful layouts. Thank you sooo very much Nat your journaling was sooo sweet!! Also thank you for the extra wordbloom that you included.

As a thank you I have made you this tag trying out Tim Holz's April technique challenge. I don't have any background stamps so I had to improvise a bit with a Heidi Swap mask and a mask bought at a German craft store. I hope you like it :). So keep a close look in your post box next week.

Material used: K and Company Wild Saffron,
Grungeboard and Crackle paint (scattered straw) alcohol incs from Tim Holz / Ranger, American Crafts Alpha and Basic Grey rubon. Ribbon and brad unknown.

Love like this, a STM challenge

Here is my try on this weeks STM challenge. The photo is taken last summer at my parents summer house. It is really a very unflattering photo of me *LOL* but who says you have to always scrap the nice photos ;)? Ooh and if you look very closely you can see that the bigger PP is even upside down LOL. I guess that's what you get when scrapping while beeing sick...

Materials used: KI Memories: Pop culture, Tinkering Ink: Blur, Doodlebug and CM letters, Doodlebug paper frills Fancy Pants felt shapes and embossing powder color red velvet.

Hello from Sweden :)

Oooh I am finally online again! I had no idea it would take so long to be approved as a Swedish citizen again. Yesterday we got our papers and of course ran to the Internet and phone company as fast as we could. It feels so great to be back in Sweden.

Our temporary apartment which has 2 rooms and a kitchen is great and we can stay here up to 1 year if we want so we don't have to rush to find our own apartment.

Scrap wise I must say I came home with huge bags from the stamp and scrap fair last weekend. I bought a lot of alcohol inks and a few new ranger crackle paints and some pens and and and... I have never used alcohol inks so if Antoine has great tutorials just write a comment with the link to the site. Tomorrow I'll post a layout that I did today.

I want to thank Nat for a lovely going away layout that she has done for me!! Take a look at her blog. Thank you girl!!! Can't wait to see it live! It's really beautiful! I'm also gonna try out your background brayer tutorials ! I am so happy I bought my first brayer last weekend and now I can learn how to use it :).

And last but not least I have to tell you something embarrassing... I was a HUGE NKOTB fan!!! Yep had my whole room full with posters and have all their LP:s :). What a dork.. ha??! Right now I am so exited they are planning a comeback ;) ;). Take a look here. Or here.
