Photos from Öckerö

This weekend has been amazing! We are having such a great weather. Today we have over 30 degrees Celsius which is very warm for June here in Sweden. Yesterday we spent the whole day on the island Öckerö. It's only about 20-30 minutes car drive from here and then you take a ferry over to the island. Here some photos I took yesterday. The two photos with the boats are taken a few weeks ago when we also were on Öckerö.

Photos from christmas and my Birthday

I am very sad to say I didn't have a great christmas nor a great 30th birthday. I have had the flue now for over a week and was way too tired to celebrate anything. I guess I have to make up to it later when I am feeling better. I didn't even take that many photos this year but here's a few.

I took some photos of the gingerbreads that Tommie, my sister and my mother baked.

My mother had made me this painting for my birthday. I think she made a wonderful job and I am very proud of her! I'm going to find a special place for this painting.

Sneak peak, photoshop and going back to university

There is a new challenge on scrapmuse and I have chosen to alter something again :). I have this wall clock from IKEA which is broken on one side after I dropped it on the floor. I though why not pimp it up so that I can hang it back on the wall. Here is just a small sneak peak of the clock. Gonna post it again after the challenge is over.

Yesterday I got a link from a friend to a great
photoshop page "Moderskeppet". It's all in Swedish though. It has many video links where you can watch and learn how to use photoshop. He is also teaching an online course at the Jönköping university in Sweden. The next course starts in January and the application period has ended but you can still apply and get in if it isn't full already. I've always wanted to learn digital photo editing so keep your fingers crossed for me so that I get in either January or August. The best part is that university in Sweden doesn't cost much. You pay either 18 or 30 euro per term depending on how many weeks you will study.

I was playing around today with one of the 5
senses photo that I posted last time. I followed one of the video tutorials on "Moderskeppet". It was about making an evil face.

Photos from our vacation

Here are finally some photos documenting our vacation.
Our first vacation by car. Will the car make it all the way?

This photo shows how the weather has been almost all the time. We had maybe 4-5 sunny days.

Not necessarily a good photo but if you click on it and look closer you see it says Scandinavian Park. It's a border shop right before you cross the line from Germany to Denmark. Of course we had to go inside and buy some of my favorite swedish candy.

A romantic dinner in the car before we drive to the ferry taking us from Fredrikshavn to Göteborg.

On the ferry.

Photos from my hometown. Well there's not much else to show ;). It's so small you can't even call it a town.

At our summer house. Cutting the lawn, playing badminton and looking at cute frogs.

In Sundsvall visiting Tommies mother. We actually had a few sunny days there so we could go out with the boat.

I took a lot of photos of flowers just playing around a bit and trying to learn how to set up the camera for different kind of photos. Here is one of my favorite shots.

Sunday was an amazing day! I went to the workshop held by Karen Russell and Heike and I have to tell you, It was worth every single penny!! It was just awesome. I learned a lot and I am now in love with interactive LO's . It was also such a pleasure to meet all the girls who I "talk" to almost every day on the net.

Here's a few photos from Sunday. I'll post my LO's later.

Hubby's LO and some photos

2 weeks ago me and my husband had a computer free weekend. We did a lot of stuff together. I reminded him that he had promised me to try scrapbooking so we sat down and I explained to him a little bit how I usually do and then gave him free hands to start creating :). So I am proud to announce and show my hubbys first LO. Don't tell his friends but he is quite proud himself of his LO ;)

We also went to St Peters
Ording and I took a few photos there. Here's just a few of them.

This weekend I played around a bit with my camera taking some photos ....

On Sunday we went to Glückstadt and... well it was sooo warm we just took 1 photo..
