Sneak peak

I have been working on my travel album so I have nothing really to show right now. I had to take a break from my travel album waiting for the paint to dry so in the mean time I did the retro challenge on Scrapbook-trends. You still have a few days left to do it if you are interested.

Here's a little sneak peak of what I did.

Keanu Reeves fan booklet and a sneak peak

A colleague of mine is on sick leave for 4 weeks and I wanted to do something to cheer her up. She is a BIG Keanu Reeves fan so I made her something nice to look at.

I have also done a photo swap with a friend of mine and here is a sneak peek of what I've done ;)

Amazing pictures non scrapbooking

My coworker is one talented guy!! He got to show off his work at "Elbart" this year. I didn't get to go to it and see his ART but finally I got the URL to his homepage. I knew he is talented but I had no idea he is THAT talented! I found a picture that I really like (the one names "Elephanta"! Keep up the good work!! Maybe one day when you are very famous I will make a LO about you and make you sign it *LOL*

Hubby's LO and some photos

2 weeks ago me and my husband had a computer free weekend. We did a lot of stuff together. I reminded him that he had promised me to try scrapbooking so we sat down and I explained to him a little bit how I usually do and then gave him free hands to start creating :). So I am proud to announce and show my hubbys first LO. Don't tell his friends but he is quite proud himself of his LO ;)

We also went to St Peters
Ording and I took a few photos there. Here's just a few of them.

This weekend I played around a bit with my camera taking some photos ....

On Sunday we went to Glückstadt and... well it was sooo warm we just took 1 photo..

2 challenges in one

I got my Scrap Muse kit yesterday and I loved it soo much I had to start using it right away ;).

This LO is actually 2 challenges in one.

First of all it is a sketch challenge at Pencillines. Second it is a challenge at a new blog that I've discovered called One Little Word. Every week they will post one word which you are to make a LO of. This week it was the word STOP.

This is my LO. The photo is of my MIL
Cinna. *Wave to Cinna*

Pimp my Shoe cabinet

Remember the ugly shoe cabinet that I showed a few days ago?

I'm talking about this ugly thing :)

Well I've worked on it for a few days now and here's how the work process has been.
I had to first Spackle on many places before I could start with the red color. I have never Spackle so it took a while and I had to ask my husband Tommie for help.
After that I used my stamps and Staz-on ink to stamp the word Shoe cabinet. Well at first it was cabin but then I asked my fellow scrappers for a little help and changed it to cabinet :).

Next step was to do a little scrap booking. Me and Tommie did the LO's together. The black and white PP is Basic Grey, the blue is CS and the red/blue PP is from Danyeela Patterned Paper. I really love this red/blue paper from Danyeela and because I only have one sheet I never wanted to use it because it was soo nice :). Now I can look at it every day *LOL* I fastened the LO's with transparency film that is sticky on one side.

Closer look at the LO.

Final photo. Sorry for the bad quality of the photo. There just wasn't enough light there and I couldn't take with the flash. As always the knobs are not 100% at the same level...
