I miss my finnish roots

When people ask me where I come from I really don't know what to answer. It depends on where I am when they ask I guess... My parents are both from Finland but I never lived there. I only spent my summer holidays there. I have lived my whole life in Sweden. Up until 3 years ago I was finnish by passport. Now I have both a finnish and swedish passport. So.. when I am in Sweden I tell people I am finnish as I don't feel like a swede when I am there. When I am in Finland I tell people I am a swede because I don't feel finnish when I am there. When I am outside Sweden and Finland I am confused and don't know what I truly am but mostly I feel finnish ;).

Beyond Appearances had Nat as guest designer this week and she had a really great challenge that got me thinking. You were supposed to do a LO with the theme "I miss ..."

All my relatives live in Finland except for my parents and my sister who live in Sweden. Whenever I have free time or vacation I therefore always go "home" to Sweden. I don't get to see the rest of my relatives that oft.

Journaling: I don't get to visit Finland as often as I would like to. Whenever I have free time I go to Sweden as it is my "home", but what about Finland? I am finnish and my heart and roots are in Finland but when I am there I feel swedish. I am confused.
